Welcome as a member - together we work for the best possible public health.
As a member, you become part of a network with different professional backgrounds, with a common interest in issues related to the interaction between human health and illness and the surrounding society.
We are a member association within the Swedish Society of Medicine (SLS) and are a specialist association within the Swedish Medical Association (SLF). This means that you as a member also automatically become a member of SLS. In addition to this, you get a membership in the European Public Health Association (EUPHA). About half of our members are doctors and half have other professional backgrounds.
You are very welcome to get involved in the association! Among other things, we organize online seminars, where we discuss current topics related to public health, equal health and social medicine, respond to referrals from authorities, participate in the social debate and drive issues related to specialist training and improved and more equal health.
